Basic Course

The topics will cover joint examination and the causes of arthropathies in childhood. A case vignette based approach will teach the basic principles of diagnosis and management of JIA, SLE, JDM and the more common vasculitides highlighting at all stages the correct use of the laboratory . Copious numbers of pictures and illustrations and flow diagrams will help algorithmic learning. If possible signs will be demonstrated on live patients with due permission.
